  • Quality ISO 9001
  • Occupational Health and Safety OHSAS 18001
  • Environmental ISO 14001

HSE Standards

We aim to ensure that all our operations are carried out safely and efficiently with no harm to people or damage to plant, equipment or the environment because at OGN we are mindful of the world around us.

OGN’s health and safety management system is certified to OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety) while its environment management system meets the requirements of and is certified to ISO 14001 (Environmental).

Our personnel receive a thorough safety induction and are trained in safe working procedures along with the technique of risk assessment performance and implementation. Our managers and supervisors attend the IOSH Managing Safely Training Course (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).

In addition to the Implementation of our Management System, OGN operates a Safe Observation Scheme (SOS). The scheme is designed to encourage all staff to work safely and to observe, action and report matters of concern using SOS observation cards.

As part of our proactive approach to quality, safety and the environment, the three management systems have been integrated under the term 'Compliance'. We have produced three policies to solidify our commitment to:

  • Product integrity
  • Protection of individuals and the environment
  • Continuous performance improvement

The overall management systems extend beyond the requirements for quality, safety and environment. All facets of OGN Group's activities are based on systems that have been developed over many years to provide valuable client solutions with unyielding integrity.

"Health & Safety is at the heart of everything we do here at OGN. Our philosophy is simple, if any job can not be done safely we will not do it."
