OGN Group operates from two facilities, located in Tyneside and Lowestoft.

  • Accommodating a range of offshore structures up to 13,000 tonnes
  • Assembly and erection area 104,000m2

Tyneside Facility

The Tyneside facility has a long and distinguished history of oil & gas platform construction. Recent, significant work history, prior to OGN, dates back to 1986 when AMEC acquired the facility.

With purpose-built load-out quays, fabrication workshops, ample storage (both heated indoor and extensive outdoor) together with dedicated engineering and project administration offices, OGN Tyneside is ready for your next project.

Plans are at an advanced stage to upgrade the facility with new workshops dedicated to large-scale production of offshore wind farm components. These will be primarily purpose-designed foundations for the deeper-water offshore wind farms due for development under "Round 3". The strategic location of the Tyneside facility makes it ideal for delivering these projects.

"Our facilities are one of our biggest assets, offering a dedicated, offshore construction environment. Both of our facilities incorporate extensive fabrication shops, engineering and project offices. Reinforced load-out quays allow the handling of large scale offshore fabrication and load-out operations."

Lowestoft Facility

OGN at Commercial Road, Lowestoft (formerly Shell UK's Southern Operations base) provides modern, fully serviced office accommodation together with extensive warehousing, storage and quay-side berthing.

As with OGN Tyneside, Lowestoft is ideally located to serve as a logistics base for future Southern North Sea wind farm developments.
